1. *#06#  - for checking the IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity).
2. *#7780#  - reset to factory settings.

3. *#0000#  -  To know the Mobile model number and manufacture date
4. *#92702689#  -  shows the warranty
5.  *43*#©  -  Activate call waiting
6.  #43##© - Deactivate call waiting
7. #746025625# - To check weather your SIM Card supports clock stopping type

For  GPRS Data Account:
Account Name: GPRS
APN: smart1
User Name: leave it blank
Password: leave it blank
Auth. Type: Normal

The following profile is tried in the Airtel network it is successfully worked
For  GPRS Profile:
Rename Profile: GPRS
Homepage: http://wap.google.com
Data Account: GPRS (this data account is the one you have created)
Connection Type: HTTP
Proxy Address: 010.102.061.046
Proxy Port: 8080
Username: leave it blank
Password: leave it blank
Save the Profile.
Activate the Profile.
WAP/GPRS/Internet services now ready to use. In case you encounter errors, double check the Data Account and Profile created. In some cases you need to restart the phone.


Turn off Autoplay for Program CDs

How can you stop Windows XP from launching program CDs?

1. Click Start, click Run, type GPEDIT.MSC to open Group Policy in the Microsoft Management Console.

2. Double-click Computer Configuration, double-click Administrative templates, double-click System, and then click Turn off autoplay.

3. The instructions on your screen describe how to configure this setting.  Click Properties to display the setting dialog. 

4. Click Enabled, and choose CD-ROM drives, then click OK, to stop CD autoplay.

5. This setting does not prevent Autoplay for music CDs.

Getting Screen Shots

If you need to get a screen shot, and you do not have a screen capture program, try this:
· Hit the Print Screen key. This copies a bitmap of the full screen into the Windows clipboard. Start up a graphics editor and paste it in.
· Alt + Print Screen will capture only the active window.

Removing Shortcut Arrows

An easy way to remove those irritating arrows from your desktop shortcut icons and not change their properties
1. Right click the Desktop / Properties / Appearance tab
2. Select Item
3. Scroll for Icon
4. The default size is 32
5. Change this to 30
6. Clicking Apply

If u want to capture an image in the Desktop just click PRINT SCREEN option and then the image is copied to Clipboard


But it is difficult to capture when it is running a program another type on the Desktop
